Richard Zecha OT

Richard Zecha OT
Occupational TherapistRichard earned his Master’s in Occupational therapy from Loma Linda University in 2016. His first job out of school was in an acute rehab facility in San Bernardino where he gained experience in neuro and ortho rehab. He then went on to work at Redlands Community Hospital, where he learned much more of the medical side of things working in the ICU, Med surg, telemetry and ER units.
Aside from working his full-time work at the acute rehab facility and at the community hospital, Richard has worked side-jobs in other settings including skilled nursing facility, home health and in outpatient clinics where he focused on treating hands. He currently has his Advanced Practice in Hands certification and plans on becoming board certified in the near future.
Richard and his wife have a daughter, a son and one on the way. His hobbies include playing basketball, flag football and volleyball, playing his guitar and reading God’s word.

Clinic DirectorPete earned his Bachelor’s in Business Administration in 2005 from California State University San Marcos while playing on the school’s Club soccer team. After graduation he became a nationally certified Personal Trainer, becoming a Performance Enhancement Specialist and Corrective Exercise Specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. After graduating in 2014 with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health science he began working in outpatient physical therapy. Instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization using the Graston Technique is one method Pete uses to treat his patients. In 2016 Pete took on the Director position at the Vista location of All Star Physical Therapy bringing him back to his hometown. In his free time, he enjoys weight training at the gym and being active outdoors.

Chelsea Rendahl PT, DPT
Physical TherapistChelsea earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology with an emphasis on Exercise Science from California State University Long Beach, while minoring in music and playing violin in the school’s symphony orchestra. She then gained experience working in both inpatient and outpatient physical therapy setting before going on to receive her Doctor of Physical Therapy at the University of St. Augustine for Health Science. She has taken continuing education courses in manual therapy and plans to complete her Manual Therapy Certification. She is a member of the APTA (American Physical Therapy Association) and the CPTA (California Physical Therapy Association). In her free time she enjoys dancing, reading, hiking and playing her violin.

Ben Byer OTR/L

Ben Byer OTR/L
Ben earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Azusa Pacific University. During this time, he competed as a sprinter on the university’s track and field team. He then worked in the physical therapy setting and as a personal trainer prior to pursuing a master’s degree in occupational therapy from Loma Linda University.
Before starting at All Star Physical Therapy, he gained experience at an inpatient rehabilitation hospital working with traumatic brain injury patients. He is currently a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) and the Occupational Therapy Association of California (OTAC).
In his free time, Ben enjoys going to the gym, cooking, and fishing at Mammoth Lakes.

Steven Nolan PT, DPT

Steven Nolan PT, DPT
Steven is a lifetime resident of North County San Diego, growing up in Carlsbad, and earned his Bachelor of Arts in Adventure Education at Prescott College with an emphasis in experiential education and environmental design. He was an adventure guide for extreme sports like multi-pitch rock climbing, whitewater rafting, and mountaineering in the Southwest. He also guided adaptive adventure trips for athletes with cognitive and physical challenges, returning them to adventure sports to improve their quality of life and confidence in everyday activities. This passion led him to return to school to embrace his passion of returning patients and clients to a more active lifestyle and reaching their highest physical potential.
He received his Doctor of Physical Therapy at the University of Saint Augustine for Health Sciences and is excited to share his love of the outdoors with returning patients to an active and pain-free lifestyle while enjoying life’s adventures. He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
In his free time, he enjoys playing softball and spending time with his wife and four kids who also share a love for adventures and discovering beautiful spots around the Southwest United States.

Rebecca Mellman PT, DPT

Rebecca Mellman PT, DPT
Rebecca is originally from the Los Angeles area and has wanted to be a physical therapist since the age of ten. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Pre-Physical Therapy from California State University, San Marcos. During her undergraduate studies, she assisted collegiate athletes recovering from injuries through the CSUSM Athletic Training Department as a Sports Medicine Intern. She then gained clinical experience working in both outpatient and inpatient physical therapy settings before going on to receive her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences.
She plans to continue her education by taking continuing education courses in manual therapy to receive her Manual Therapy Certification. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the California Physical Therapy Association (CPTA).
In her spare time, she enjoys trying new local restaurants, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.

He earned is Bachelor’s in pre-physical therapy at California State university San Marcos, and is Doctorate of Physical Therapy at University of St Augustine School for Health Sciences. He is passionate about pediatric and neuromuscular physical therapy, to provide creative, personalized, and optimized interventions.
He is the youngest of 9 kids, an uncle to 30+ nieces and nephews, and a father, and this family dynamic motivated him to pursue a career where he connects with people. Outside of the clinic Ray likes to play guitar, hike, watch movies, go to concerts and exercise.
