Neurological Rehabilitation
Neuromuscular re-education is an exercise technique focusing on the relationship between the brain, nerves, and muscles to restore movement.
Most people, without even thinking about it, complete simple tasks like standing, sitting or walking. Neuromuscular re-education works to strengthen the connection between the electrical signals sent from the brain and the muscles responsible for movement. Through repetitive movement and stimulation these signals can essentially be retrained, and muscle movement can once again become automatic.
