Christine Eddow DPT, CHT, LCT

Physical TherapistChristine Eddow earned her Master of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Southern California in 1990 and went on to complete her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree through Loma Linda University in 2003. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science, Cum Laude, from Cal Poly Pomona in 1986. She completed her PhD in Education with an emphasis in higher education leadership through Northcentral University in May 2017 and presented her doctoral dissertation research at the California Physical Therapy Association conference in San Diego, California in September 2017. She has been practicing in the Riverside, California area since 1990.
Christine is a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) and is also board certified in Orthopedics (OCS) and Women’s Health (WCS). She has served as Clinical Faculty at Loma Linda University since 1994 and is the Director of Post Professional Education and Assistant Professor in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at Western University of Health Sciences, Pomona, California.
Christine is a member of the American Society of Hand Therapists and the Orthopedic, Hand Rehabilitation, Education, Research and Women’s Health sections of the American Physical Therapy Association. She also teaches both Women’s Health and Hand Therapy continuing education courses at the post-professional level. She specializes in Hand Therapy, Orthopedics and Women’s Health.

Physical TherapistDhvani received her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda in India. After studies, she moved to the United States and obtained a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Arcadia University, Pennsylvania. Dhvani practiced as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for two years before obtaining a California Board Physical Therapy license.
She has a multi-setting work experience in acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, and outpatient rehabilitation. Dhvani has completed a Yoga Certificate Course and a workshop on Comprehensive Approaches to Low Back Pain Syndromes.
Dhvani enjoys drawing, traveling, and spending quality time with her husband and family. She also likes outdoor activities such as walking and hiking.

With a diverse background, Bryn has gained extensive experience in various settings, including outpatient orthopedics, pediatrics, and home health physical therapy. In outpatient orthopedics, she has successfully treated patients with musculoskeletal injuries and conditions, helping them recover and regain their mobility. Bryn’s expertise in pediatrics has allowed her to work with children of different ages, providing them with the necessary therapy to improve their physical development and functional abilities. Additionally, her experience in home health physical therapy has enabled her to deliver personalized care to patients in the comfort of their own homes, ensuring their safety and convenience.

Occupational TherapistGabby Catipon is an occupational therapist who graduated from the Master of Occupational Therapy program (MOT) at Loma Linda University. She has diverse work and fieldwork experiences in adult acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, hand-based outpatient rehabilitation, early-intervention, outpatient and community-based pediatrics. Gabby strives to curate treatment plans to solve daily challenges in her patients’ lives so they can live a self sufficient, meaningful life. During her time at Loma Linda University, she has worked as a teacher’s assistant for human gross anatomy and was awarded the Department of Occupational Therapy Edwinna Marshall Leadership Award
Growing up in Chino Hills, CA; Gabby has always been surrounded by a big family who have all played a huge inspiration to join the health care field. Besides her career as an OT, Gabby enjoys cooking healthy and yummy food for her family and friends. She attributes her love for cooking and trying different cuisines to her time traveling throughout her childhood as a daughter of father who was in the Navy. In addition, she loves spending her free time reading, dancing and spending quality time with her fiancé and loved ones.

Clinic DirectorDr. Jim Eddow received his Bachelors of Science from the University of California, San Diego in Animal Physiology and Neuroscience with a minor in Psychology in 1995. He then earned a Physical Therapy Assistant degree from Mesa College in San Diego in 1998. Jim went on to get a Master’s in Physical Therapy from Loma Linda University in 2003 and then a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Western University of Health Science in Pomona, CA. He has been a Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist since 2006 and has been teaching at Western University of Health Science in their Doctor of Physical Therapy Program since 2007 where he is currently an Assistant Professor. Jim has worked in out-patient orthopedics for his entire career and also does running and throwing analysis for athletes. He also works with patients who suffer from vestibular disorders a well as temporomandibular dysfunction.

He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Christian Studies from California Baptist University and his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Western University of Health Sciences. He is FMS 1, SFMA 1 and 2, FCS certified as well as an IASTM Certified Practitioner. His approach seeks to treat the whole person beyond their chief complaint, considering how aspects of their lifestyle including sleep, hydration, nutrition, and stress impact their recovery. Education for his patients is a top priority to help them understand their impairments and how to help them overcome it. He has taught as an adjunct professor at California Baptist University in the Athletic Training, Kinesiology and Exercise Science departments at both the undergraduate and graduate level.
His treatment strategy has been heavily influenced by Gray Cook who has been known to say, “Moving isn’t important, until you can’t. First move well, then move often.” His strategy is not to simply rehab the injury but to rehab the whole person. Movement is medicine. His goal is to help you get back to a movement practice you enjoy so you can thrive.
Married to the love of his life with three kids, he is involved at Church in the Valley in Ontario Ranch and is pursuing his Masters of Divinity through Northwest Seminary. He enjoys hiking and strength training, predominately with kettlebells.
